Standard Press is Atlanta's oldest printer. Harry and Ruth Shulman started Standard Press in their garage in 1932, with just $139 and a customer-driven philosophy, they opened for business and quickly grew into one of the city's first full-service printers.
Harry's son, Harvey, began working at Standard Press at the age of 10 and took on the role of the president in the late 60s. He managed the business for tremendous growth over the next 20 years. His son, Andy, also grew up in the business and diligently learned each trade associated with the printing industry.
Harvey died unexpectedly in 1997 in a tragic accident, leaving the day-to-day management of Standard Press to his wife and son. As the third-generation president, Andy is committed to honoring the legacy that his father and grandparents created, while embracing a new generation of ideas and technology to ensure Standard Press' success in the future.
Over the past 5 years, Standard Press has invested more than $8 million in capital improvements and technology to benefit customers like you. As your needs evolve, we will continue to expand and offer more under one roof to make your job easier.
