There were only 1,000 of these books printed as gifts to qualified buyers of the Grand Hyatt Gurgaon Residences. They were also given to prospective partners interested in IREO Development and to Grand Hyatt Residence product developers as a guideline for aesthetic qualities.

“The concept was to create a comprehensive look at the sustainable, ground-up developments of Gurgaon, IREO City and the Grand Hyatt Residences,” according to Robert Louey, the designer of the piece.

“Gurgaon is a suburb of Delhi which grew out of the rapid growth of the Technology and Finance industries in India. The new generation middle class there is growing explosively and looking for more intelligent living spaces which include walking and bicycle paths, shaded greenery, contemporary amenities and high level green building technologies. Our approach was to display, with elegance and clarity, each of the features in a lavishly oversized format.  We also wanted to draw attention to the world class personalities involved in the making, including Sir Norman Foster and Tony Chi.”

Loey continues, “We have had a love affair with Mohawk for decades beginning with the beautiful and now classic books printed on Mohawk Superfine (Beautiful Collection). For a book lover, turning a page of Superfine is a memorable experience. Nothing compares to the sumptuous feel. Often we challenge paper with every process possible and a wide number of finishing techniques. Not only does Superfine hold up but it takes on a whole new level of luminosity. It just glows.

“We began using Superfine for high level luxury projects long ago and we chose it for this book block because it fits the brand. The quality creates a distinctive and reflective message of the quality of the residences”
